At Mega Nursing & Care, we are dedicated to delivering compassionate, high‑quality care that empowers individuals to live with dignity and independence in their own homes. Founded in 2011 by Advanced Nurse Practitioner Margeret (Meg) Lawal, our company has grown into a trusted, family‑led provider operating across multiple regions of England.

Our story

Frustrated by the limitations and bureaucracy of traditional care systems and driven by her deep experience in care homes, Meg set out to transform how care is delivered. Despite balancing single parenthood, postgraduate studies, and external work, she stayed committed to her vision—securing the company’s first client after 11 months, achieving a key contract with Northamptonshire County Council, and expanding to Bedford, Hertfordshire, and beyond.

Meg’s two sons, Winner and King Lawal, subsequently joined the leadership team, contributing clinical innovation, operational stability, and financial rigour. Their collective efforts have enabled the launch of pioneering services like the “Home Recovery” (formerly “Rapid Response”) unit—developed in partnership with East London NHS Foundation Trust—to help hundreds return safely from hospital.

We provide a spectrum of home-based care services, including:

  • Rapid response / Home recovery – Clinician-led admission avoidance and early hospital discharge support
  • Long-term & Respite care – Consistent, compassionate support tailored to individuals and their families.
  • Specialist care – Dementia, learning disability, mental health, physical disability, and sensory impairment support
  • Palliative & end-of-life care – Delivered to the highest professional standards, aligned with the Gold Standard Framework

Operating across Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Gloucestershire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and extending into Wiltshire, Manchester, London, Essex, and Rotherham, we are regulated and rated by the Care Quality Commission, achieving “Good” across most areas in our latest inspection.

Q Will you provide a continuity of caregivers?

We prioritise the comfort and trust of our clients. We recognise the significant value of consistent care from familiar faces. Our scheduling system is carefully designed to maximise continuity of care, aiming to provide the same caregivers on a weekly basis. While we strive for consistency, we also maintain flexibility to accommodate any changes in your needs or circumstances. Our goal is to create a care environment that feels both professional and personal, ensuring you receive the highest quality of support in the comfort of your own home.

Q Will my care calls be the same time each day?

During your initial assessment, we will agree a convenient time slot with you. This will be your allocated time slot each day. We have a 15-minute tolerance before and after the allocated time to allow for a bit of leeway in case of external factors, i.e. traffic.

Q Will I be informed if my carer is running late?

We encourage all of our carers to inform us if they are running late and in that instance, we will call you to let you know.

Q Will I be kept in the loop before any decisions are made?

Absolutely, we are committed to a collaborative approach in all aspects of your care. We consider you an integral part of the care team, and your input is invaluable to us.
