Based in Tonteg near Pontypridd, we provide a wide range of musical services designed to engage people of all ages and abilities, from fun lessons for beginners to advanced tuition, workshops, performances, and original compositions. We currently teach students from across Rhondda Cynon Taff, Cardiff, Caerphilly, and Bridgend, delivering over 1,000 individual lessons each year. Our director, Dan Phelps, brings patience, expertise, and enthusiasm to every session, tailoring lessons to suit each student’s ability and goals. You can learn purely for enjoyment or progress through formal qualifications. We also support GCSE and A-Level students with exam preparation, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to succeed.
Beyond individual lessons, we provide African drumming workshops for schools, community groups, youth projects, festivals, and businesses. These sessions are hands-on, energetic, and designed to inspire. Participants explore traditional African instruments such as Djembe drums, Djun Djuns, Ghana bells, and Shekere shakers, taking part in dynamic drum circles that encourage teamwork and creativity.
